After Dark

These pieces have been partially influenced by film. Specifically, movie sets and scenes from perhaps lesser-known horror and mystery films produced in the 1960's and '70's. The fuzzy film quality, technicolour reels, crafty movie sets and that era's decor and fashion are of curiosity and attraction to me. Melding these sometimes dramatic landscapes into an exploration of colour, shape and composition has been engaging and just plain fun.
